Position Summary

As the Executive Director, you will be the visionary steward of this experience—curating an environment that reflects warmth, excellence, and distinction for our residents, families, and team members alike.

The Executive Director is responsible for the overall performance and ambiance of the community, ensuring operational excellence while safeguarding its financial vitality.

Qualifications & Desired Experience

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Gerontology, or a related field; advanced degrees preferred.
  • Proven leadership within a luxury hospitality, senior living, or private healthcare setting.
  • Active or eligible state-specific certification for licensed Assisted Living operations.
  • Deep understanding of regulatory standards and compliance in senior living.
  • Demonstrated ability to build high-performing teams and cultivate long-lasting resident and family relationships.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and written communication skills with refined emotional intelligence.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and modern community management tools.

Key Responsibilities

  • Serve as the face and voice of the community, ensuring every guest, resident, and associate experiences an atmosphere of excellence.
  • Drive the financial performance and operational sophistication of the community.
  • Guide and mentor department heads across culinary, wellness, care, and hospitality functions.
  • Collaborate with the sales team to welcome prospective residents and personalize move-in experiences that exceed expectations.
  • Host monthly resident forums and community engagements to maintain transparency and responsiveness.
  • Ensure 85% of community concerns are elegantly resolved at the local level through proactive leadership and resolution.
  • Maintain readiness for all regulatory and quality assurance inspections.
  • Champion emergency preparedness protocols and onsite crisis management as needed.
  • Travel occasionally to support sister communities or complete licensing requirements, including participation in real estate education if necessary.
  • Fulfill additional leadership functions to ensure seamless operation and premium service delivery.

Work Environment & Conditions
This is a leadership role requiring presence, agility, and sustained interpersonal engagement. Physical activity includes standing for extended periods, moving throughout the community, and occasionally lifting up to 25 pounds. Visual acuity for reviewing documentation and digital tools is essential. Travel to regional properties may be required.
